“ It's a convenient mart but sadly the shop closed last month October 2024 for the owners retired and shut the business for good. ”
“ The people that work there are so friendly, polite. Starco had variety of international and local foods. Starco Mart gets a five star the best small mart in the city ”
“ Awesome spot to find unique Asian snacks! It's always fun to browse ahead of a movie or party to discover something different to eat! It's mostly good for prepackaged food. You'll find candies, cookies and even good stuff like taro jam or ube jam. Drinks including yogurt drinks, ramunes and more. The freezer section also has awesome finds like frozen bao buns. There are some other American foods too if you just need to pick up something quick. Hours are pretty limited so you'll have to plan ahead if you want to visit. ”
“ Store has gotten a lot better with restock a lot of their items. Nice variety of Asian snacks and foods. Only negative I would point out is that their bottled sodas always seem to be flat every time I purchase one. No carbonation at all. My advice to management is to double check your bottled drinks in stock because last few sodas were flat and stale tasting. ”
“ Love this well-stocked Asian grocery store! It's small, but don't let that fool you - it has everything you need for Chinese, Japanese, Thai... they even have a small produce section with bok choy, kabocha squash, and purple sweet potatoes! Minus one star since they're not open on Sundays (when I usually do my grocery shopping), and the location isn't the nicest. The owners have always been kind to me, but I'm always on edge when I'm walking there. ”
“ Nice store nearby where I can pickup things. It is a bit crowded but has lots of products and variety. ”
“ Neighborhood Asian grocery store that has almost every Asian grocery item you may need. In case you don't want to venture all the way to Chinatown or the sunset/Richmond. Lotsa Filipino items too! ”
